Q: How to extend the residence permit for currently studying student?

The best way is that you should use your right of entry into Sweden as your residence permit is valid till September 2009. Then once you are here you can ask your program coordinator to write a supporting letter for the extension of visa.There will be definitely no problem for you in acquiring the extension.Just come here right a way , try get the personal number and open a bank account. Getting the personal number might be a bit difficult but I think the university administration will help you in this matter.
