2 different bank statement? |
|
Q: Is it possible to show 2 different bank statement collectively fulfilling the visa requirement?
First Perspective:
I am just pasting a line copied from the official website of Swedish Migration Board. Please carefully concentrate on the bold phrase:
........You should also enclose a bank statement showing that you have your own funds to support yourself (in English)
I have seen the visa application of one of my friend rejected on the basis of this single line which technically signifies that there should be one bank statement. I would therefore suggest that in order to keep things simple and to avoid any bad thing to happen try to transfer money in one account. It is important to mention that there is no restriction on how long the amount shown is in your possession. The funds should be there at the time you apply for the visa. Keep it there till you get information regarding the issuance of visa (Inshaallah).
All the best.

Second Perspective
Its never a problem if you present two statements, I am in close knowledge of people who applied with two statements, and that too, one statement from a Pakistani bank account and the other part of statement from a Swedish account.
So its never a problem. You may freely apply that way. Write a note in How do you support yourself, that I have money in these two accounts on my own personal name, and the grand sum is well enough for me to support myself for XYZ months.

Note : It is always good to call and ask the embassy as the rules oftenly get updated and changed.
