The IT University of Copenhagen is creating a new laboratory for experimental IT research. This will become a place where the technology of the future is created and tested and will run projects right on the edge of new interactive technology. Examples include ubiquitous computing, distributed and global interaction, multi-touch surfaces, and collaborative technologies. The goal is to acquire and build new hardware and software technologies.

Objective:
The objective of this research is development of radio-frequency CMOS circuits ureful for future muliband and multistandard flexible radio for data and personal communication. The project brings several challenges in terms of circuit design and RF signal processing including downconversion to the digital baseband. Calibration and on-chip RF test are the specific objectives of this project. Innovative design-for testability (DfT) techniques are expected to be proposed, implemented in the contemporary CMOS, and verified on a bench. |
